Darwin Strategies
Science in the field...
Set against the Human Adaptation Institute, Our work is based above all on experience in the field.
Our researchers explore human adaptability where they are really put to the test.
We transform this knowledge into practical strategic tools for organisations.
There are several reasons for this: cognitive barriers, misaligned timeframes, visions that are difficult to unify, and above all a lack of action. It's not enough to have a CSR strategy; you have to get employees on board, give meaning to the action and change collective behaviour.
the development of human adaptive capacities
To explore human adaptive capacities in order to help societies navigate the world’s upheavals and move towards a more sustainable future.
The environment, technology, geopolitics – the landscape is changing more rapidly and more profoundly. Against this backdrop, organisations play a key role : for their long-term survival and to build a liveable world. The ones that will make a difference will be those that know how to observe, learn and adapt collectively.
That is why we have developed a method and tools which make it possible to assess the the ability to adapt, to improve and to engage its teams in a changing world.
Just as when we’re in the eye of the storm, we work with you to come up with new ways of working, cooperating and taking action.
Each assignment is an expedition. Our support is immersive, experiential and structured around 3 key stages.
Darwin Strategies
Our approach: going on an expedition!
Understanding your real terrain
Expedition briefing, identification of friction points and potential levers. Mapping your leadership and decision-making challenges.
Experience, feel, measure. Field exercises and simulations based on our expedition protocols. Your managers are confronted with situations similar to real uncertainty.
Turning results into sustainable practices. Analysis of observed behaviours, embedding new decision-making processes, action plans…
Tools developed through our field research
Assessing adaptability
To develop adaptability, we must first know how to measure it. Our twenty years of expeditions have enabled us to make it observable, from the individual right up to the entire organisation.
Physiological markers. How the body responds to stress, as measured using tried-and-tested protocols under extreme conditions.
Cognitive tests. Fatigue and cognitive load: identifying the threshold at which decision-making deteriorates.
Sociometric tools. The real dynamics of a group: cooperation, tensions, the flow of information.
Adascore®. Mapping the adaptability of a team or organisation.
Global Adaptation State Index (GASI®). Our most comprehensive method for assessing an organisational system as a whole and monitoring its progress.
ACTE³™, our framework for engagement. Four pillars, three parameters each, twelve in total: Cognitive Foundations (A), Relational Dynamics (C), Time Management (T), Individual Resources (E). A common language that links each measure to a specific lever.
